Treasury of the World: Jewelled Arts of India in the Age of the Mughals

After 10 years of touring, the Treasury of the World exhibition is finally in Kuwait. The exhibition features more than 500 jewelled objects from the Mughal Empire.

 

Travelling Exhibitions

al-Fann: Art from the Islamic Civilisation

A new comprehensive exhibition on art from the Islamic world. The exhibition premiered in October 2010 at the Palazzo Reale in Milan, Italy. It then travelled to Vienna, Austria in early 2011. A collection of about 350 objects made of different materials, from ivory to glass, from stucco to metalwork, to pottery, rock crystals, manuscripts, woodwork, stones and textiles, including carpets, have been chosen for this exhibition.
