Al-Maidan Cultural Centre is an operational venue which hosts the events of the annual cultural season of Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah. Over the years, al-Maidan has hosted the Monday night lecture series in addition to the events and performances of the DAI Music Circle. Click here for this season’s calendar of events.
The building has a theatre with a maximum capacity of 250 seats fully equipped for lectures, musical performances and theatre productions. It features world-class EPC lighting and high end acoustic fittings appropriate for cultural season evenings. The theatre was designed and executed by Space Films, a Czech production company.
